Privacy & cookies
The public agenda works without an account. An account is optional for syncing hearts and email updates require a separate, explicit opt-in. Advertising personalisation and social tracking pixels are not used.
Essential storage
Your language, saved listings, anonymous heart identifier and privacy choice are stored locally in your browser. Accounts and admin users receive a secure, HTTP-only session cookie after login. There are no public profiles.
Accounts and hearts
An optional account stores your name, email address, preferred language and the events or activities you heart. Email accounts store a one-way password hash. Google or Apple sign-in stores only the provider and its stable account identifier; we do not keep provider access or refresh tokens. You can delete the account and its hearts from the account page.
Email updates
We send selections or announcements only after you actively tick the separate email opt-in. We record the choice and its time so it remains auditable. You can withdraw it on your account page at any time; it is never a condition for using an account.
Optional analytics
Before you choose Allow analytics, no Google analytics script is loaded and no request is sent to Google Analytics or Google Tag Manager. After consent, we measure aggregate interactions such as page views, sharing, saving, review clicks, language changes and event actions. Only analytics storage is enabled; advertising storage, user data, signals and personalisation remain disabled. Refusing, withdrawing consent or Global Privacy Control keeps or makes analytics inactive, and no new analytics events are sent.
Suggestions and corrections
Suggestion and correction forms store the details you submit, an optional private email address and a pseudonymised IP hash used for abuse prevention. Nothing is published automatically.
External media and links
Official event images are served through our local, size-limited image cache, so your browser does not contact the organiser merely to show an event image. External links only contact their destination after you open them and follow that destination's privacy policy.
